Come on then, share the love. Who's got what Elton/Ray cd's? I've got Nantes and Milan. Anyone got anything different?

Any thoughts?

Personally, it made me feel as though the two old codgers struggled a bit with these shows, loads of mistakes, lyrically and rhythmically. Anyway, I just had to post upon hearing about these Elton/Ray concerts! I've been waiting years hear 'Indian Sunset' live again. I've ordered one of those 3 disc concerts of the show, so I'll waiting eagerly for that

lyric switch in Mona Lisas and Mad Hatters

i've noticed the past few years that whenever elton performs "mona lisas and mad hatters" in concert, he changes the song's final verse from the one beginning with "now i know..." to the one beginning with "subway's no way..."

i figured this was a recent change (the first time i'd heard the song with a repeat of the "subway" verse was at his 10/5/01 show in cleveland) but after listening to a bootleg of one of elton's...

Any news on new studio album YET????

... haven't heard anything in forever. Hasn't anyone on here heard something about Elton's next studio project? When is he going back into the studio? Is it that Leon Russell thing that was talked about months ago or is it original Elton/Bernie material. It's been 3 years since Captain and the Kid and I'm getting RESTLESS!!!!

greetings. according to the set lists posted on eltonfan.net, elton's finale on 9/27, 9/29 and 9/30 elton's final song(s) was "saturday night's alright for fighting"/"i'm still standing."

i'm wondering if someone can comment on whether "standing" and "saturday" were actually played as one song or if the the information on eltonfan.net is inaccurate. (and if it's the former then please describe how the songs were...

I have not been digging for info....yet casually, regularly looking for more detailed information on how the concerts in Europe are going without Guy....and with Kim. Not to be a downer, but I am a wee bit surprised at such little discussion about Kim is out there other than a one liner or 2 here and there.

Guy was so important to the sound of the band....and I am just wondering how things are and how the show is going. How does Elton, Davey, Bob, Nigel and John relate to Kim...

When was it recorded? I know it was released in '86, but his voice and the production sound different from the rest of the "Leather Jackets" material. It almost sounds like "Jump Up" or "Too Low for Zero" material.
