According to my count, it had at most 12 adds at AC radio. I'm unsure of what the record company's plan was for this single, as the follow-up single was not even sent to Lite-FM from what I gather, a big-market AC station that is very Elton-friendly.Putting aside the fact AGH is not a good song to release as a single, which I think we can all agree on...Much like CSAT and many other follow-up singles in recent years, the track appeared to not even be sent to even 1/3 of the AC stations out there. Apparently Island, like Capitol and the other record company's before it, cannot be bothered with the track. Then again, Elton didn't promote it either, so how can you blame them?

In my best attempt to reconcile the 2 charts--AllAccess/MediaBase and Billboard, I think I project AGH to be at around #22-23 this week on Billboard, up from #30. So it is on the rebound, which is a good sign.
Judging by spins, if it trends the same way, very best case scenerio is it peaks at #13, probably likely around #14-18 though.
For a song as un-radio friendly as this one, that is a pretty decent showing...
Will a #14 or so peak be enough to get Island to roll the dice for a third single? Unlikely, but you never know...

I'm kind of personally hoping AGH does well so that Island considers maybe releasing TOC...highly unlikely, I know. But I think it's a great song and I want the public to get a chance to hear the track.
