I caught it last night on Bravo. Anybody seen this?
The only music is the Bridge. Its very simple with the drawing of horse out piano and a few review quotes. At the end though there was a very different quick mention of Red Piano in Vegas with a pic of the hotel that was such a clash from the prior portion.
Saw it again on Bravo this morning very early and shortly after saw it again on VH1, but these times dont remember the Vegas ending. It was nice catching more marketing...

Marketing an album over a month after it's release. Isn't that a bit late.

A bit but the month passed is a nonissue for majority of TV viewers entirely unaware of the CD release. SunImage

When the Bravo interview came on today, my daughter mentioned seeing his interview the night before on MTV and that she'd seen it on MTV a few times. I found this surprising being they target a younger crowd.
One interesting about the Elton outburst at his record company is that Im seeing this being on TV unlike Peachtree or SFTWC. Maybe he expected more though.SunImage

The December issue of Glamour Magazine with Sandra Bullock on the cover has a full page ad for C&TK. Very nice.

It's not too late at all: I'm not aware of the state of the album charts in the States, but here in the UK it is not at all uncommon for an album that has dropped out of the charts to suddenly find itself rocketing back up again, due to a successful single or a marketing boost. Take, for example, Ray Lamontagne's album Trouble, released September 2004 - it reached the UK top 5 for the first time in August THIS YEAR - nearly a whole TWO YEARS after its release. James Blunt was another (though less extreme) slow climber - Back to Bedlam released in October 2004, it was a good six months or more before it eventually became a no.1. So it's not ridiculous to suppose that with the right marketing, the right single (with a killer video), etc. the album could still do excellent business.

More and more ...
So why does Elton think his record company has failed him? Im dont think his commenting at his concert was wrong but Im trying to understand where he's coming form. Like I said, I didnt see this with PTR or SFTWC.SunImage
